Over football (soccer) history, fans have witnessed many teams, some of which have succeeded while others have lost their way. Though there are a lot of teams that dominate the sport, there are several that have an incredible history and will be remembered for years to come.

Ajax

Ajax dominated the world in the late 1960s to early 1970s, earning records in the books of football history. During the period, the team won 6 Eredivisie titles, 4 Domestic Cups and 3 European Cups. So far, no other football team in the Netherlands has been better than this.

Bayern Munich

Currently, Bayern Munich is among the biggest clubs globally. In a decade of its history between 1967 and 1976, the team won 1 UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup, Bundesliga in 3 consecutive times and 3 European Cups. This made them a ruling force in German football, and they still remain to be.

AC Milan

Like any other team, Milan has had a couple of fruitful periods. Nonetheless, between the mid-80s and mid-90s, Milan had a prolific history. In the 2000s, the team made another tremendous win by carrying several Serie A Cups and 2 Champions Leagues.

Liverpool

Unlike Manchester United, Liverpool is not the biggest team in England. During the lap of 1975-83, Liverpool saw many trophies by winning 6 league titles, 3 Cups and 3 European Cups. They also had a similar era in the late 80s.

Chelsea

Chelsea is the second team to have the highest number of points during a season in the EPL. 95 points in 2004/05. The record holder, Manchester City, collected 100 points in the 2017/18 season.
